Bruised and Confused

It’s easy to confuse someone with the mental acuity of a turnip. Like Donald J. Trump, our fake president, who tweeted this morning that an actual White House press briefing was that old standby, fake news.
Trouble was, there were audio tapes and smart phone videos of the briefing. And the content of the briefing was the truth, not the usual fake news that comes from the endless yapping mouths of the endless lying WH liars. The dude – Matt somebody – basically told the press that a revival of any Singapore Summit for June 12 was impossible, given the time and logistical constraints.

So, charitably put, Trump was confused, although “deluded” is a much better and truer term. I think Trump’s already fragile brain is beginning to show the wear and tear and slippage from the constant barrage of bad news whacking him and his low rent administration.
Our very own Cadet Bone Spurs remarked long ago that avoiding VD was his Vietnam, patriot that he is. Who’s to say that he avoided it? Certain forms of VD take a long time to develop. That stuff can produce delusional and inexplicable actions, which seem to be the staple of Trump’s decision-making.
Take the zen of “we’ll see,” which has become Trump’s go-to answer for anything he doesn’t have an answer for, which is a lot. That doesn’t exactly make him Mr. Decisive. The so-far cancelled Korean summit is Exhibit A. He just up and chucked it out of the blue because he was afraid that Kim Jung Un would beat him to the punch by cancelling first. That’s certainly confused thinking because the Little Rocket Man sees such a summit as a big step in the validation of his brutal dictatorship. But the bruised brain in the White House evidently didn’t see it that way.
Now Trump is making noises about resurrecting the summit, like it is something you can turn on and off like a light switch. Maybe it is, if your brain has turnip tendencies. What the hell. We’ll see. Of course we’ll see, asshole. The future becomes the present and we see. And what we’ll see in any future that Trump is involved in is stupidity, greed, endless hate, treason in many forms, and really ugly hair and a squinty, puffy, sagging face to boot.
I think Trump is really confused about the Nobel Peace Prize, too. He seems to think you get it for bullshit talk, not real peace-making. South Korean President Moon has done more in one afternoon to deserve the prize than Trump, who also seems to have thought he was such a lock that he had these cheesy Nobel medallions struck that look like they belong in a box of Cracker Jacks.
All things considered, no summit is probably the best summit for this country because Kim and his family have been playing the United States all over the peninsula for three generations, while the Trump family has for generations been nothing more than slumlords and flannel-mouthed grifters. Kim would – or will – eat Trump’s lunch like it was the hottest of winter kimchi, which would only do further damage to Trump’s bruised and confused brain if he ever ate any.
But we’ll see. Unfortunately.
