Self-Gifting

So there was Trump running his sleazy-ass mouth saying that this gypsy switch of a tax plan is a great Christmas gift to the middle class. Yeah, how many great gifts do you get that blow up in your middle class face in a couple years and leave you paying more taxes than when this ugly muck-reeking muskrat first started filling his own private swamp with his soulless billionaire buddies?

And what about the base of his base who have as much chance of ever become middle class as I do of becoming Pope? Fuck them because he knows that they’re in his pocket now and forever and he would have to come to each of their houses or trailers and molest their daughters before they might get the glimmer of an idea that this sucker is not their friend and couldn't care less about how they live. They are there to wait on tables and flip burgers and clean up after the vanishing middle class and the elite above them and this tax plan makes sure that there will always be an ample supply of this economic cannon fodder. They’re the rent-a-cops at the gates of the sealed communities where the real people in Trump’s America live.

Trump and the political class and their masters of terror capitalism are now waging open, declared war on what was formerly known as “the American way of life.” Simply put, they couldn't care less what happens to anyone but them.

The floodgates of racism, nationalism, Nazism and every other rotten “ism” have been opened and a torrent of unbridled evil unseen since the churning wake of the Civil War has been loosened on a generally unaware American public, too enraptured by cable TV and social media to notice or care that their once beloved America is being turned over to a band of criminals who are raping the land and its people. Indeed, everything in America is now officially for sale, the stamp of government approval applied by a Republican Senate that would vote for Armageddon if there was a buck in it for the people really calling the shots.

The new tax plan is a blueprint for the further enrichment of the mega-rich, an actual battle plan for their long-term aggrandizement at the expense of anyone who is not among their elite coterie.

It is the night before the final Christmas of Jimmy Stewart America, a place where decency, striving, and fellowship could be rewarded with a rich and full life. That America is being systematically destroyed while those who protest and despair – a growing majority – are seeing that it simply doesn’t matter to these people. They don’t care. Never have, but now it is out in the open, given license by the aberration that is Donald Trump and his despicable cohorts and enablers.

They are deaf to all but their own greedy voices. Protest all you want. They don’t hear you. They can’t and stay in office. They represent you only by rare accident or coincidence. They represent themselves.

Have you ever re-gifted? This tax plan is way beyond that. It is self-gifting. The rich are giving themselves even more, more, more. More more more is their mantra.

Rise up, America. Give them less less less. Give them the hell they deserve.
